About

Hi Y’all! I’m Kelly Catlett, the founder of SmockaBelle. I’m proud to be a native Southerner where we love our sweet tea, SEC football, and of course smocked children’s clothing!

When I consider what it means to be Southern, I envision family, heritage, and genteel traditions, and that is how I see SmockaBelle – a family business that would like to be a part of dressing your cherished children in the timeless tradition of smocked apparel. Whether it’s simply for a summer sundress or for a special occasion such as Easter or a family portrait, let SmockaBelle be a part of your heritage.

You will find quality brands you know and love like Petit Bebe and Claire & Charlie which are both by Anavini, and we also pride ourselves on our “Southern Hospitality Service”.  We want to exceed your expectations both in product and service, and your satisfaction is guaranteed!

SmockaBelle came about following one of life’s unexpected twists… After my husband suffered a stroke, I left my career to become his caretaker.  Through this, I definitely learned that I am a “Steel Magnolia”, and it’s true what they say - when one door closes another one opens.

My professional background was primarily as a buyer and manager in specialty retail for florists, gift shops, and museum stores including their e-commerce sites, and I had often fantasized of one day owning a children’s clothing store so with my background, along with being a Grandmother to three granddaughters, an online children’s boutique felt meant to be!

And I think we can all agree, there’s just nothing more precious than your little one in a smocked dress.  So let us help you “SmockaBelle”!
